Though our concentration is primarily in the commercial, tenant improvement, adaptive reuse, and industrial design sectors, we have a broad spectrum of expertise.

Interior Architecture

At MDG, we believe that interior architecture is a significant aspect of any structure. A building’s interior flow, feel, and function are primary concerns to our designers.
As a firm driven by the design-build model of architecture, our interior designers have the advantage of working closely with our architects from start to finish.
The result? Finished spaces that look incredible and function flawlessly.
Master Planning
A comprehensive plan with the big picture in mind.
Master planning offers you as the owner or end user a comprehensive plan that incorporates strategic placement, size and scale, as well as proximity and functional relationships.
We use this information to develop the “big picture” relationships, either of a single building to its site, or of a campus with multiple buildings.
With the need for future expansion or remodeling in mind, MDG can provide a framework that incorporates the project’s past, present and future into a cohesive whole.
Existing Facility Assessments
Know where you’re starting from.
Are you planning to reuse an existing structure for a new project, or alter an existing space? An existing facility assessment can help in either case.
At the Mollenkopf Design Group, we break existing facility assessments into two categories — Program Assessments, which analyze how a building is contributing to or hindering the intended service or program, and Facility Condition Assessments, which identify the physical properties and systems of the building.
We can help assess any facility, decipher what local, state, and federal codes and laws,
determine the integrity and availability of infrastructure and building components, and help you understand what’s possible for a given structure.

Through the design intent process, the team at Mollenkopf Design Group will translate your desires and visions into documentation that outlines prescriptive, measurable information and conceptual design.

RFP & RFQ Preparation
Ensuring excellence from day one.
An RFP (Request for Proposal) is a solicitation sent to potential suppliers with whom a creative relationship or partnership is being considered. An RFQ (Request for Qualifications) is an evaluation sent to potential suppliers to confirm their capability of fulfilling the requested services.
Both RFPs and RFQs adhere to strict guidelines, making oversight in their preparation vital. The Mollenkopf Design Group’s staff of qualified Architects can help you prioritize and qualify prospective providers of design, engineering or construction services.
